US-based casual dining restaurant chain Red Robin Gourmet Burgers has announced the expansion of its menu, with the launch of the Gold Medal Burger and the Star-Spangled Spritzer.  

The Gold Medal Burger is made with three patties and three slices of American cheese, along with Red’s relish, pickles, mayo, lettuce, onion and tomato.

Complementing the burger, customers can also get a supply of Steak Fries or another bottomless item of their choice from the menu. 

The new addition is available across all the participating locations in the US.

Red Robin has introduced a $4 YUMMM-YUMMM special offer, available on weekdays for the remainder of June 2024.  

The promotion includes $4 Chips and Salsa on Mondays, Bottomless Root Beer Floats on Tuesdays, a Doh! Ring Shorty on Wednesdays and Gourmet Milkshakes in vanilla, chocolate or strawberry flavours for $4 on Thursdays.  

The offer is valid for dine-in and to-go orders at participating locations in the US, from Monday to Thursday, and expires on 27 June 2024. 

Red Robin executive chef and culinary and beverage innovation vice-president Brian Sullivan said: “Inspired by the hardware athletes will bring home, the Gold Medal Burger weighs approximately 18 ounces and is the ultimate summer challenge for burger fans. 

“We hosted an internal competition where participants were challenged to finish the Gold Medal Burger and Star-Spangled Spritzer, and only a few could complete the challenge. We know our guests will bring it and can’t wait to see who steps up to the plate!”
