Redberry Restaurants, the operator of Taco Bell Canada, has announced the opening of a new Taco Bell location at Union Station in Toronto.

This brings the total number of Redberry Taco Bell units to 27.

The new restaurant is strategically located in the York Concourse’s lower-level food court.

The new venue will cater to 200,000 daily commuters of Toronto’s primary transportation hub.

Redberry Taco Bell Operations director Steve Perreira said: “This will be the seventh new location that we have opened this year, and we are honoured to become a part of a vibrant and historical location like Union Station.

“We look forward to connecting with Torontonians and visitors alike to provide the Taco Bell classics we know they’ll love while they’re on the go.”

The opening of the Union Station location also supports Redberry’s plans to launch 200 Taco Bell restaurants across Canada.

Taco Bell Canada marketing director Devon Lawrence said: “We’re always looking for new ways to bring our fans the taste, convenience and value they love.

“Union Station’s central location provides the perfect opportunity to meet our customers where they already are – whether that’s waiting to catch a train, grabbing a quick bite over lunch, or heading home after a game.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate this milestone opening and serve Taco Bell favourites to even more Torontonians.”

In May 2024, Taco Bell Canada partnered with Redberry to open a new restaurant location in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Located at 4440 Albert Street, the new venue is franchisee Redberry Restaurants’ third Taco Bell opening in the area.

The franchisee recently acquired two Taco Bell locations in Saskatoon.
