Upscale dining restaurant chain Rosa Mexicano has launched intelligence platform Yumpingo at its Lincoln Center location in New York City, US.

The move expands Yumpingo’s presence in the country following its entry into the US from the UK last year.

The restaurant chain is planning to introduce the Yumpingo platform to nine other locations this quarter.

Under the partnership, Yumpingo will invite customers to participate in a one-minute digital review on a Rosa Mexicano-branded Yumpingo device.

Collected data will be offered to the restaurant chain enabling them to manage and optimise their operations according to customer satisfaction at location, shift, and dish level.

“The team there understands the value of what we do: gather guest insight at the restaurant in a non-invasive way so management can accurately calibrate the delivery of exceptional dishes.”

In addition, the platform will integrate the restaurant’s point-of-sale (POS) to digitally produce bills for guests to offer a simple experience and enhance the overall operation.

Yumpingo founder and CEO Gary Goodman said: “We are delighted to be working with Rosa Mexicano and to launch at their prestigious Lincoln Center location.

“The team there completely understands the value of what we do: gather guest insight at the restaurant in a non-invasive way so that management can accurately calibrate the delivery of exceptional dishes and service.

“We look forward to seeing the positive results of our partnership as we expand across the Rosa Mexicano brand.”

Yumpingo offers big data analytics to restaurant operations by gathering guest experiences using handheld devices.
