US-based fast-casual restaurant chain Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen has expanded its presence with the opening of a new outlet in Mesa, Arizona.

The new outlet, located at 4537 S. Power Rd, began welcoming customers on 19 April, marking the brand’s debut in the Mesa area.

Spanning an area of 1,600 to 2,000ft², the new restaurant is owned by franchisees Keven Barth and Phuong Thai, as announced in October 2023.

It has an open kitchen design and a large outdoor and indoor patio.

The Mesa outlet offers the chain’s signature menu, including NY-style hand-tossed pizzas and pasta dishes such as Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo, and Spaghetti with Meatballs.

The menu also features a variety of sandwiches, salads, soups, and wings, along with pizza by the slice.

For those with dietary restrictions, gluten-free options are available, made with premium ingredients.

The restaurant also offers daily and lunch specials, including pizza slice combos starting at just $9.95, and a selection of giant Pizza By The Slice salads and calzones.

Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen was founded in 1999 by chef Anthony Russo.

With this new opening, the chain now operates 57 locations across Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and several international markets including the Philippines, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Qatar.

In February 2025, Russo’s signed a multi-unit development agreement with Javier Aguilar to launch ten outlets in Mexico City by 2027.

The fast-casual pizza and Italian kitchen concept expanded its footprint in the US by opening a new location in New Caney, Texas, in July 2023.
