Fast-casual pizza and Italian kitchen concept Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen has expanded its menu with two new Sicilian-inspired dishes.
The chef-driven brand, known for its fresh ingredients, is offering patrons a taste of Sicily with a pistachio pesto twist through its new offerings: the Pesto Chicken Pasta and Pistachio Pesto Pizza.
Both are limited-time offerings and feature Russo’s signature pistachio pesto sauce made with extra virgin olive oil from Sicily and fresh basil.
Pesto Chicken Pasta combines pistachio pesto sauce with broccolini, artichoke hearts, fresh Roma tomatoes and Campanella pasta.
Pistachio Pesto Pizza presents a New York-style thin crust topped with the same homemade pesto sauce, Wisconsin mozzarella cheese, broccolini, fresh Roma tomatoes and grilled chicken breast.

Its pizza dough is made from premium all-natural flour, and its pizza sauce is prepared fresh daily using Italian herbs.
Russo’s menu also features other Italian fare. The Old World Pepperoni Pizza is crafted with cup and char pepperoni, ricotta cheese, Wisconsin mozzarella and Pecorino Romano on a classic white sauce.
Burrata Dip offers fresh homemade burrata cheese drizzled with local organic honey and crumbled pistachios.
Gnocchi Burrata features house-made potato gnocchi topped with slow-cooked marinara sauce and homemade burrata cheese.
In October 2023, Russo’s New York Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen opened a new location in Mesa, Arizona, owned by franchisees Keven Barth and Phuong Thai.
