US-based salad chain Salad and Go has collaborated with Kalibrate, aiming to support its ongoing growth plans using the latter’s location intelligence platform.

Salad and Go will employ Kalibrate Location Intelligence (KLI), a real estate platform that integrates Competitive Insights mobility data.

The technology combines market analytics with customer behaviour patterns to provide brands with a deeper understanding of market potential and competitive positioning.

Salad and Go chief development officer Bill Martens stated: “As we invest in our sustained growth, we needed a partner who could provide both the sophisticated technology and proven expertise in the restaurant space.

“Kalibrate’s track record of helping restaurant brands expand successfully, combined with their best-in-class location intelligence platform, made them the clear choice to support our strategic initiatives.”

Salad and Go operates more than 140 locations across the states of Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Nevada.

To steer its expansion into new markets, the salad chain will use KLI to make informed real estate decisions for future store sites.

Salad and Go deploys a real estate model that features compact 750ft² units equipped with double drive-through lanes, allowing the brand to pursue real estate opportunities not typically ideal for traditional restaurant concepts.

The deployment of KLI will offer Salad and Go a centralised platform to manage all location-related data and analytics.

This will enhance decision-making efficiency for site selection and reduce risks associated with new store development.

Kalibrate Sales head Grant Irving stated: “By implementing KLI and Competitive Insights, Salad and Go will have a unified platform to analyse market drivers, evaluate competitive dynamics and build data-driven strategies for new unit development.

“The platform enables teams to make confident decisions by understanding not just where to grow, but how to optimise their approach in each unique market.”

In January 2025, Salad and Go announced plans to launch its Greens for Everyone seasonal menu, with three recipes from Michelin-starred chef Daniel Patino.
