US-based fast casual restaurant chain Shake Shack has deployed Harri’s scheduling and timekeeping system across 305 of its US restaurants.
Harri, which provides the Frontline Employee Experience platform, has announced that its technology has been integrated with Shake Shack’s Workday payroll system.
Harri chief operations officer Joe Miliziano said: “Employee timekeeping in the hospitality sector is very complicated and requires a partner that is an expert in helping frontline managers comply on a location level.”
The implementation of Harri’s compliance-driven scheduling enables restaurant operators to approve employee-driven shift swaps, automatically factor in shift preferences when creating schedules and permit employees to volunteer for open shifts.
The tech firm said that its system, which offers accurate, intelligent scheduling based on historical, predictive labour demands and employee preferences, will help the casual restaurant chain support its culture of caring for its teams.
Harri CEO Luke Fryer commented, “In a dynamic industry where employee engagement is a direct driver of revenue, creating an employee-centric culture is crucial. Shake Shack is well known for leading the way in the hospitality industry.
