Scotland-based SIX Company has unveiled plans for a significant expansion in Edinburgh, which includes the launch of a new Six by Nico restaurant and the introduction of Somewhere by Nico.
This development represents a £2m investment into Edinburgh’s dining scene and is set to create around 60 new jobs.
Six Company, which owns Six by Nico restaurants, is set to open Somewhere by Nico Edinburgh and a new Six by Nico location in early June 2024.
The new establishments will be situated side by side on Queensferry Street, in the premises formerly occupied by Foundry 39 on Queensferry Road.
Six Company CEO and founder Nico Simeone explained that after operating for six years in Scotland’s capital and the opening of 16 sites throughout the UK and Ireland since 2017, the brand is moving into a new phase with a new look for Edinburgh customers.
Since its inception in Glasgow in 2017, Six by Nico has served over 12 million dishes across 16 locations in the UK and Ireland.
