American quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept Smalls Sliders has entered into a new franchise agreement with Serendipity Provisions to open an additional five units in Texas, QSR Web has reported.

Serendipity Provisions will open five new Smalls Sliders’ locations in the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Serendipity has an extensive background in the restaurant and franchise industries, and plans to open its first location in 2024.

The company will focus on the Frisco region, with four other locations planned across Allen and Prosper.

Serendipity Provisions representative was quoted by QSR Web as saying: “We were immediately drawn to the distinct branding of Smalls Sliders, as well as their curated menu and “let’s do this the right way”.

“Once we met with the Smalls Sliders team, it was clear that this was a brand with the means to really take on nationwide or even global expansion, and their confidence in the brand was a huge indicator for us that this was the right move.
