Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores, which is owned by funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Global Management, is set to open its fifth store in the US state of Idaho on 2 November 2019.
Situated at 1240 Lindsay Blvd, the Idaho Falls store will be the company’s 69th location in the Western US.

It will carry over 8,000 items such as fresh meat and produce, cheese, dairy and deli products, frozen seafood, appetisers, french fries, grocery products, baking ingredients, beverages, bread and tortillas, janitorial and catering supplies, tableware and barware.
Smart Foodservice vice president of sales and marketing John Mathews said: “Our stores provide foodservice operators access to high-quality ingredients, without having to worry about inflated delivery prices and fees.
“We offer an assortment that includes major national brands as well as excellent private label products through our First Street-branded items. We are excited to serve new and existing customers in the greater Idaho Falls and Pocatello areas.”
Headquartered in the Greater Portland, Oregon area, Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores has been operating throughout the Northwest for over 60 years.
The company operates 69 warehouse stores in Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, and Montana.
Earlier this year, Shipt started same-day delivery with Smart Foodservice Warehouse Stores across 15 markets in the Western and Northwestern regions of the US.
As per the partnership, the companies are making ingredients and restaurant supplies to be available in as soon as one hour to households and foodservice providers like caterers, restaurateurs and other small businesses.
