The Titan Hospitality Group has expanded its presence by opening a new Smashing Grapes restaurant in the Merriweather District of Columbia, Maryland.

The 7000ft² venue is situated opposite the Merriweather Post Pavilion and has a refreshed modern design.

Smashing Grapes is the first kitchen and wine bar of its kind in the district.

Titan Hospitality, headquartered in Anne Arundel County, manages a portfolio of five restaurants and plans further expansions in 2024.

The group operates across DC, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware.

Titan Hospitality Group founder and CEO James King said: “After the Blackwall Barn & Lodge opened in the District last October, we saw how it quickly became a local favourite brunch and dinner spot.

“We wanted to curate Smashing Grapes’ new design to fit the lively area and expand the dining scene with an upscale kitchen and wine bar.”
