Smoothie King has announced 38 new store commitments and 28 new store openings across 16 US states in the third quarter (Q3) of 2024.
This is the highest count of store openings in a single quarter since 2018.
The brand’s Clean Blends initiative continues to drive its popularity, with its focus on whole fruits and vegetables and the elimination of more than 70 “No-No List” ingredients such as artificial additives and added sugars. This commitment to healthier options is resonating with consumers and franchisees alike.
Among key milestones for the quarter were entering two new US states, opening a flagship store at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, launching the first Smoothie King in Austin, Texas in three years and opening two stores in Colorado.
The brand also introduced its Coconut Bowls nationwide, adding a plant-based option to its Smoothie Bowl lineup.
Smoothie King chief development officer Chris Bremer said: “Our Q3 results reflect our focused approach to growth and expansion.
