Foodservice and facilities management company Sodexo has opened Au Bon Pain café at the Cannon House Office Building in Washington, DC.
Sodexo is the foodservice provider for the House of Representatives, and the new location is part of its efforts to introduce new dining concepts for staff and guests at the building.
Au Bon Pain employs 16 team members and is located on the first floor of the Cannon House Office Building in room 194.
The restaurant offers signature items including sandwiches, breads, pastries, salads, soups and coffee at the new location.
Sodexo North America government CEO Brett Ladd said: “We are honoured to serve the hard-working members and staff at US House of Representatives and their guests.
“We hope the excitement around Au Bon Pain will make the fast-casual bakery café a popular dining destination at the Cannon House Office Building.
