Global catering, sales and event management company Sodexo Live! is set to offer a taste of New Orleans to 62,000 fans at Super Bowl LIX – an American football championship scheduled to be held on 9 February 2024 in the Louisiana city.
The hospitality company has curated a menu embodying the “rich flavours” of the city and state.
With more than 4,000 “experience makers” on hand, Sodexo Live! aims to deliver an “unforgettable” culinary experience.
The Super Bowl LIX menu will feature dishes such as Lobster Karaage Sandwiches and Elevated Seafood Nachos.
Lobster Karaage Sandwiches offer panko-coated butterflied lobster tail drizzled with a lemon pepper sauce on brioche buns.
Surf & Turf Po’ Boys feature smoked short rib, local fried shrimp, mornay sauce and remoulade sauce, dressed with tomatoes and lettuce on local Leidenheimer bread.

Traditional New Orleans alligator sausage and Warm Bananas Foster Bread Pudding with salted caramel Crown Royal sauce are also on the menu.
For those looking for a festive drink, options include the Loaded Spicy Bloody Mary with Ketel One Vodka and the Royal Carnival Queen cocktail featuring Crown Royal Apple.
Classic concessions such as turducken, crawfish-loaded stuffed baked potatoes, hotdogs and pretzels will also be available throughout Caesars Superdome.

Preparations for the gastronomic feat began immediately after 2024’s event in Las Vegas.
Sodexo Live! has sourced from local vendors who make up 40% of procurement to create the menu items.
The company’s efforts extend beyond the stadium to pre-game events at New Orleans venues, where they will serve more than 250,000 meals.

Sodexo Live! has enlisted top talent from its UK team at the Royal Ascot, with Marshall Faulk, a New Orleans native and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back, as chief flavour officer.
Sodexo Live! has partnered with the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute.
