American drive-in restaurant chain Sonic has expanded its menu with the launch of a new addition, the breakfast slinger sandwich.
The breakfast slinger sandwich is available for customers in three variants; egg and cheese, crispy bacon and sausage.
The egg and cheese breakfast slinger is made using melted cheese, eggs and a buttery brioche bun.
Sonic product innovation and development vice-president Scott Uehlein said: “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and there’s something mouthwatering about starting with the perfect flavour combination of light, fluffy eggs with savoury, melted cheese.
“Consumers are looking for a smaller breakfast sandwich, so we focused on finding the right portion size, something that is going to completely satisfy you without slowing you down.
“You can enjoy the breakfast slinger any time of the day, and it goes great with a green mountain coffee roasters in the morning for one powerful breakfast.”
