SoundHound AI, a company specialising in voice AI solutions, has enhanced its Dynamic Drive-Thru solution for restaurants, with the addition of omnichannel ordering capabilities.

The enhanced voice AI-driven platform is designed to improve the accuracy and speed of the Dynamic Drive-Thru solution.

The upgraded platform helps restaurants expand their AI automation capabilities to include call-to-order, text-to-order, scan-to-order and in-car voice ordering systems.

The aim is to offer a seamless ordering experience across multiple channels.

A key feature of the enhanced platform is the Polaris multilingual speech recognition model, which aims to lower employee workload and boost order throughput.

The platform maximises revenue with AI-based upselling capabilities and offers real-time data and voice insights to enhance customer interactions.

The addition of smart lane technology lowers customer wait times by enabling pre-ordering.

In December 2024, US fast-casual restaurant chain Torchy’s Tacos deployed SoundHound’s voice AI smart ordering system at all 130 of its sites.

The system can handle a wide range of orders, including customisations.
