Global food and drink travel operator SSP Group has unveiled its new Bazzar Caffè concept at the Düsseldorf Airport in Germany.

Bazzar Caffè was founded by Aydin Kirici in 1996 and has played a major role in pioneering coffee culture in Düsseldorf, according to SSP.

With this expansion, SSP now operates 11 restaurants and food outlets at Düsseldorf Airport, along with an on-site conference centre.

Düsseldorf Airport commercial operations head Pia Martina Klauck said: “At our airport, we seek a mix of internationally well-known brands and regional, individual concepts, so we are delighted to open Bazzar Caffè in cooperation with SSP.

Located in the airport’s departure lounge C, the Düsseldorf Airport outlet spans 200m2 of space and can accommodate 84 people. It will offer a range of breakfast options, cakes, tapas and salads.
