Food and drink travel operator SSP Group has unveiled a first Burger King outlet at Edinburgh Airport (EDI) in Scotland.
This marks SSP’s entry to the Edinburgh airside operation and will become of EDI’s wider redevelopment programme.
The new Burger King will offer a full menu featuring flame-broiled whoppers, fries, salads and drinks.
It will also include technology such as self-service kiosks for customers, enabling them to place orders on digital screens.
SSP UK and Ireland CEO Simon Smith said: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of our first Burger King unit at Edinburgh Airport, which will offer greater choice and service to both local and international travellers.
“This is our 30th Burger King restaurant to launch in the UK, and reflects our ongoing commitment to the brand and to providing our customers with the best offers from the most renowned names in food and beverage.”
