Food and drink travel operator SSP Group has expanded its bakery portfolio at Frankfurt Airport by opening two bakeries, BackWerk and Le Crobag.

BackWerk Management managing director Karl Brauckmann said: “As Germany’s largest bakery, we are convinced that our experience in quick-service catering will be ideal to meet the demands at the airport. We are developing a new, commercially valuable channel.”
