Stonegate Group has reopened the Slug & Lettuce pub in Albert Square, Manchester following a £646,000 refurbishment.
The renovation was part of a larger £2.6m investment across four of its Slug & Lettuce locations in the UK.
The Slug & Lettuce Albert Square venue now offers the brand’s signature flamingo pink and jungle green decor, with new seating booths and marble tabletops enhancing the venue’s aesthetic.
A modern photobooth has also been installed, offering guests a playful feature to capture memories.
The Albert Square venue joins others in Deansgate, Birmingham and Solihull that have been reopened in 2024 after extensive refurbishments.
The Solihull venue was relaunched with a focus on outdoor space and features a new garden and terrace area complete with an outdoor bar, dining facilities and a covered pergola.

“Manchester is now home to two ‘new era’ Slug & Lettuce sites, and I am eager to make Albert Square a must-visit destination in Manchester alongside the already highly popular Deansgate venue.
“The transformation of both sites is incredible, and the Albert Square team and I look forward to welcoming back our valued guests in the coming weeks.”
