US-based multinational quick service restaurant (QSR) company Subway has announced the opening of its second dual headquarters in Shelton, Connecticut, US.
Subway’s new global dual headquarters is located at 1 Corporate Drive, an office building within RD Scintos’ Enterprise Corporate Park in Shelton’s business district.
It is situated nearly ten miles away from Subway’s former Milford office, providing easy access to both main and alternative roadways.
Subway’s Shelton office has been designed to advance the restaurant company’s multi-year transformation efforts to enhance all aspects of its business.
Simultaneously, this office space is expected to improve the QSR brand’s employees’ experience.
The three-floor, 90,000ft² upgraded workspace has an open floor plan featuring different conference, huddle and multipurpose rooms.

The on-site amenities that Subway employees can access at the RD Scintos’ Enterprise Corporate Park include multiple dining options, fitness centres, childcare centres, beauty salons and spas, complimentary recreational activities and healthcare providers.
Subway CEO John Chidsey said: “Connecticut has been at the heart of Subway’s story for nearly 60 years.
“The strategic relocation of our global dual-headquarters to Shelton will provide employees with a world-class workplace and unlock access to services to help enhance their wellbeing. In addition, it will serve as a showcase of our brand and a welcoming place for guests to visit.”
All of Subway’s Connecticut-based employees handling essential business functions, including finance, human resources and legal, have completely transitioned to this newly opened Shelton office building.
Subway business services director Bill Ekstrom said: “Our new Shelton headquarters is an important step in modernising the Subway brand and underscores our dedication to establishing an optimal workplace for innovation, collaboration and work-life balance.”
Subway opened its first dual headquarters in Miami in 2022, which was dedicated to handling all the consumer-facing functions of the company.
This Miami office is home to Subway’s Latin American regional office staff.
In March 2023, Subway also opened its second headquarters, with an Innovation Center and Mock Restaurant in Miami.
