Restaurant brand Subway, through its subsidiary company SUB License, has entered into a master franchise agreement with Convenience House Schweiz to expand its presence in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

As per the terms of the agreement, Convenience House Schweiz will have exclusive rights to manage and develop Subway locations within these markets.

The agreement will see opening of more than 70 Subway restaurants over the next seven years, an initiative set to more than double the brand’s current footprint in the region.

Convenience House Schweiz CEO Sebastian Becker said: “Subway is a well-established, globally recognized brand with dedicated franchisees and a loyal consumer base.

“We are committed to bringing guests the freshly made, craveable food that has made Subway a favorite in the quick service restaurant industry, while also driving innovation to meet the evolving needs of guests.”

Convenience House Schweiz aims to prioritise guest experience and accessibility by modernising existing and new restaurants to align with Subway’s contemporary image.
