American restaurant chain Taco John’s, which specialises in Mexican-inspired fast food, has introduced a premium side item called Taco John’s Queso Blanco for guests.
It comes in the form of a ‘rich creamy indulgent cheese sauce with a pleasant jalapeño kick’. The Queso Blanco Creations line-up includes a Queso Chicken Boss Burrito and Queso Loaded Nachos with chicken or steak.
The new item can also be ordered as an ‘à la carte side’. It will be available to guests via drive-through from today.
The Cheyenne, Wyoming-based chain also said it will offer one free side of Queso Blanco and chips to guests who download Taco John’s app, starting this Sunday.
Guests who already have the app will see the coupon in their offers tab in the morning of the launch.
Taco John’s chief marketing officer Barry Westrum said: “At Taco John’s, we’re always looking for opportunities to elevate the guest experience.

“To bask in all of Queso Blanco’s cheesy glory, we’re celebrating by offering free servings and calling on guests to tell us what they think. We have a good feeling they’ll love ours more than some of those fast-casual chains’ quesos!”

The chain currently operates and franchises approximately 400 restaurant units in 22 US states.
