A Joy, a Taiwanese restaurant located at the summit of Taipei 101, a 100-storey skyscraper in the heart of the city, has launched a new menu featuring 14 dishes inspired by spring.

A Joy opened in July 2023. Its spring 2025 menu offers seasonal ingredients and fresh greens.

Its executive chef has re-imagined the Taiwanese menu with dishes such as Golden Sand Bamboo Skewers.

A Joy also offers a twist on the classic pig’s blood cake by incorporating bamboo shoots and pairing them with the restaurant’s signature barbecue sauce and peanut powder, for a balance of sweet and savoury flavours.

Spanning 1,835m² with 282 seats, A Joy is situated on the 86th floor and seeks to serve as a “love letter” from Taiwan, promoting the country’s cuisine and culture. In line with this theme, diners are provided with postcards to send messages worldwide, courtesy of the restaurant’s mailing service.

A Joy aims to integrate culture, space, aesthetics, music, fragrance and food, with the design and presentation of the dishes enhancing the dining experience.

Its menu features more than 300 dishes spread across eight sections. All are emade with seasonal and indigenous ingredients and include Buddha Jumps Over the Wall with Puff Pastry, Flame-Grilled Duck and Taiwan Flavoured Chocolates (Fried Shollot/Fermented Tofu/Parsley).

The cost of dining is approximately $152 per person.
