Asian-inspired fast-casual restaurant chain Teriyaki Madness has signed a franchise agreement to open a new location in Flowood, Mississippi, US.

The Flowood location is set to open within the next year, following the state’s first shop, which is scheduled to launch in Pearl, Mississippi, in January 2025.

Charlie Patel and Sam Patel, multi-unit franchisees with a background in operating Subway franchises, are spearheading the expansion of Teriyaki Madness in the state.

They plan to utilise their considerable franchising experience alongside TMAD’s robust support system to ensure the success of their new business endeavour.

Charlie said: “I had been following Teriyaki Madness since around 2013 or 2014 when the founders were still running it. It’s a unique concept, offering something that’s not as common in the market.

“Our number one goal is to increase sales by providing the best quality food and service to ensure we have returning customers. This will help us build brand awareness and grow. We plan to open additional restaurants, aiming for at least three more locations.”
