Quick service restaurant chain Texas Chicken has appointed Yang Ming Ong as the company’s vice-president.
Ong will work with the team based in Singapore and will be responsible for key functions in more than 16 countries across the Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Black Sea Basin.
Ong will oversee development, training, marketing, and strategy functions of the company across all markets.
Texas Chicken international business and global development executive vice-president Tony Moralejo said: “I am indeed pleased to announce the appointment of Yang Ming Ong to our team.
“His ability to incorporate fresh, aggressive ideas and drive margin improvements will be a great asset across all of his Texas Chicken markets.”
Before joining Texas Chicken, Ong worked with KFC Asia as head of strategy and franchise profitability. He also worked with Yum! Brands managing operations, finance and strategy divisions.
