UK-based community pub group Admiral Taverns has announced the opening of The Cheshire Cheese pub in Middlewich, Cheshire.
The community pub has been re-opened to the public after undergoing an extensive £300,000 ($366,000) refurbishment.
Admiral Taverns invested £250,000 for this upgrade while the remaining funds came from the local licensee, Janice Oxle, who has been running the pub for the last three years.
Janice said: “Running the Cheshire Cheese has been such an adventure so far and I’ve loved every second of it. Opening night was incredible, made even more special by the feedback I received from customers about the refurbishment – it really is looking fantastic.
“I can’t wait to help it grow even more and see it continue to evolve into a vital community hub for my residents to enjoy.”
As a part of this upgrade, the pub exterior now features new lighting, signage and a completely revamped beer garden.
