UK-based pub company Stonegate Group has announced the re-opening of the Exchange pub in Ivybridge after undergoing an overhaul.
The Ivybridge community pub was refurbished with a £210,000 ($256,518) investment by Craft Union Pub Company, an entity of Stonegate Group.
The pub now features a revamped interior and exterior.
The interior has a larger interior space to accommodate more guests and the rear area of the pub has been transformed into a sports zone with new HD TV screens.
It also boasts a pool table and an illuminated darts board.
Additionally, the pub features new carpets, seating fixtures and fittings. The bar area has also received a makeover.
The pub’s upgraded outdoor space now has new seating for its guests.
The Exchange pub operator Dave said: “We are absolutely delighted to be at the Exchange and getting its doors back open to the local community. Its investment has given it a new lease of life and we hope everyone in the area loves it as much as we do.
“There a lots of fun things planned for everyone to get involved with and cannot wait to celebrate with you all at the launch weekend. Chris and I are excited to get to know you all and create some amazing memories in this fabulous pub.”
As part of its re-opening celebrations, the Exchange will host a launch party weekend on 27, 28 and 29 October 2023.
