The George, a pub in Harrow, UK, is scheduled to reopen as a Craft Union pub on 24 April 2024.

The pub will reopen after a £98,000 ($121,190) refurbishment, which includes a new pool table and a dedicated darts area.

The refurbished venue will also introduce a new lineup of DJs to entertain guests throughout the weekend.

With the transition to Craft Union, The George pub will now offer extended weekend opening hours, allowing customers to avail of the pub’s amenities until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.

The venue’s entertainment offerings will now include karaoke, DJ sets, and live music every weekend.

Additionally, the pub will host a wide array of games every week.

Known previously as The Harrow, this traditional pub features multiple HDTV screens, a modern sound system, and booths with screens.

The George, Harrow operator Emma Wakeling said: “I am so excited to join The George as operator and put everything I have learnt to the test!

“The pub is looking fantastic following its investment and I am looking forward to welcoming back the pub’s regulars to get to know them and showcase the newest era of the pub. We are launching an exciting events schedule and there really is something for everyone, all are welcome!”

Last month, Stonegate Group reopened the refurbished Yates, Romford, pub under the new Craft Union Pub Company ownership.

The overhauled pub has been opened with fresh decor and an expanded product range.

It will now offer its guests a wider selection of beverages, including Cruzcampo, John Smith’s, and various real ales.
