The Habit Burger Grill, an American restaurant chain known for its char-grilled burgers and sandwiches, is set to open a new drive-through location in the city of Lancaster, California.

The new restaurant at 1804 East Avenue J is scheduled to open on 5 June 2024.

The 3,100ft² Lancaster restaurant will feature a patio space and offer dine-in, takeout and delivery through The Habit mobile app and via order.habitburger.com.

Customers will be provided multiple ordering options including indoor self-serve kiosks and delivery partnerships with Grubhub, DoorDash, Postmates and Uber Eats.

The Habit Burger Grill culinary innovation director Chef Jason Triail said: “The Habit Burger Grill has deep roots in SoCal, stretching back over 50 years. So, there’s a special kind of joy in opening new restaurants right here in the gorgeous Golden State.

“Lancaster is a city brimming with energy and a real sense of community. And we’re pumped to open a second location here to dish out our fresh-from-the-flame Charburgers, sandwiches that pack a punch, and a whole lot more.”

To commemorate the launch, The Habit Burger Grill is organising exclusive pre-opening VIP events for CharClub members and mobile app users on 1, 3 and 4 June.

The latest news comes after the announcement by The Habit Burger Grill in April 2024 of an opening in Cutler Bay, Florida.

The 2317ft² Cutler Bay location is the brand’s eleventh restaurant in the state. It is located at 19169 S Dixie Highway and offers dine-in, drive-through and takeout services.

In December 2023, the fast-casual chain opened a drive-through restaurant in Fontana, California.

The outlet at 16138 S Highland Avenue is the second Habit Burger Grill in the city, the first drive-through having opened in October 2022.
