Coffeehouse and restaurant chain Tim Hortons India has opened its 40th store in India at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi.
The new outlet operates 24/7, serving beverages, sandwiches, pastries and wraps.
Tim Hortons entered the Indian market in 2022 and has focused on metropolitan areas and travel hub locations in cities such as Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Pune and Chandigarh.
Strategic placement in high-traffic areas such as airports and premium malls is part of its growth trajectory.
Tim Hortons India CEO Tarun Jain stated: “Opening our 40th store is a significant milestone — not just in terms of growth, but as a reflection of our commitment to bringing the authentic Tim Hortons experience to more people across the country. Our expansion strategy is focused on building a strong presence in key locations where there’s a demand for premium experiences.
“Our airport presence is a great example – it’s not just about being in Terminal 3, but about creating a well-rounded offering across major transit hubs. From freshly crafted sandwiches, wraps and salads to our signature beverages, our menu is designed to deliver both quality and comfort. The overwhelming response from our guests has been incredibly encouraging, pushing us to move forward with even greater momentum — and we’re excited for what lies ahead.”
Tim Hortons, founded in Canada in 1964, has a global presence with more than 5,100 restaurants in 15 countries.
In March 2025, Tim Hortons US introduced sweet items for its spring 2025 menu. These include Bunny Donuts and Spring Timbits Buckets, which double as Easter Egg hunt baskets and contain 30 Timbits (small doughnuts).
