Canadian coffeehouse chain Tim Hortons has announced the return of its Omelette Bites, a high-protein breakfast option aimed at health-conscious consumers.

The high-protein breakfast comes in two flavours: Bacon and Cheese or Spinach and Egg White.

Spinach and Egg White Omelette Bites contain 13g of protein and 130 calories for two pieces, while the Bacon and Cheese variant contains 15g of protein and 210 calories.

Tim Hortons chief marketing officer Hope Bagozzi stated: “Many guests had asked us if we could bring back our Omelette Bites and we’re excited that they’re now on the menu again at participating restaurants across Canada.

“For guests who are looking for a delicious, light, high protein breakfast, an order of two Omelette Bites is a great option – and they also make for a great afternoon snack!”

In January 2024, Tim Hortons announced the relaunch of four retro donut flavours in Canada as part of its 60th-anniversary celebrations.
