UK’s independent restaurant Farmhouse is all set to open its second location in Leeds at the end of this summer, Yorkshire Evening Post has reported.

The restaurant brand, known for offering brunches, breakfasts and all-day dishes, will open its new location at the former ASK Italian on Lands Lane.

Farmhouse owner Jordan Aspinall was quoted by the news agency as saying: ‘’We are super excited to open in Leeds and can’t wait to bring our unique take on world foods to the city, without being tied down to any specific style of cuisine.

“We create our tried and tested favourites, with no trick cooking, no clever marketing just good food served by friendly people.”

The kitchen at the new restaurant location will be headed by Chef Tom Hunter.

Both, Aspinall and Hunter will be focusing on creating a new Leeds menu, which would be a combination of Farmhouse favourites as well as some new dishes.

Its menu offering would include Cinnamon Graham French Toast, Farmhouse Benedict with poached eggs, halloumi, and turkey bacon as well as coffee made with partners Union coffee roasters.

The bar portion of the restaurant will be serving a wide array of beverages to its guests ranging from smoothies, beers, wine and cocktails.

Aspinall added: ‘’We originally looked for a restaurant in Leeds in 2019 when we opened in Harrogate, and so this has been in our minds for quite some time. I’m confident we’ve found the perfect site for our second farmhouse and can’t wait to bring our amazing brunch to Leeds city centre.’’
