US organic coffee and healthy dining chain Urth Caffé has entered a licensing agreement with Getaway Space, a premium electric vehicle (EV)-charging café based in Los Angeles (LA), California.

The collaboration aims to introduce Urth Caffé’s menu to the eco-conscious clientele of Getaway Space, combining culinary offerings with sustainable technology.

LA-based Getaway Space offers a space where guests can recharge their EVs as well as get sustainable refreshment, and now also includes gourmet dining in partnership with Urth Caffé.

Visitors can enjoy Urth Caffé’s heirloom organic coffees, known for being lower in acid and healthier, alongside bakery items, fine teas and farm-to-table dishes, all while their EVs charge.

Getaway Space CEO Steve Kuh said: “We are thrilled to partner with Urth Caffé, a brand synonymous with quality, sustainability and innovation.

“Bringing Urth Caffé’s beloved menu to our venue aligns perfectly with our mission to offer eco-conscious solutions without sacrificing luxury or comfort. Together, we are redefining the EV-charging experience.”

The Urth Caffé brand aligns with the environmental values of Getaway Space’s customers.

The licensed menu at the café will feature Urth’s signature items such as organic salads, artisan sandwiches and freshly baked pastries.

Getaway Spaces seeks to transform the EV-charging experience by providing an eco-friendly retreat in the urban landscape.

Urth Caffé president Shallom Berkman said: “This partnership with Getaway Space is an exciting new chapter for Urth Caffé.

“We have always believed in creating an experience that is as good for the planet as it is for the body, and now we have the opportunity to share that philosophy in an innovative new setting. Together, we hope to bring sustainable living to life, one cup of coffee at a time.”
