Phood Farmacy has opened a store in North Hollywood, California.
The new restaurant serves pre-prepared, nutritionally balanced food items that use farm-raised plants and proteins.
The concept was created by international restaurant and hospitality concept development agency The Next Idea and was funded by multiple investors.
Phood Farmacy’s breakfast offerings include the Ezekiel 4:9 Cereal & Yogurt, Pomegranate & Saffron Shakshuka, Acai Yoghurt, Cinnamon-Apple Sunrise Oats and the Country Breakfast Sandwich, which features rocket, goats’ cheese, tomatoes and a frittata served between slices of Ezekiel 4:9 bread.
The restaurant also offers Bison Shortrib and Mushroom Flatbread, Green Street Tacos, Robert’s Stock-Free Chicken Soup and other soups, salads, entrées, sandwiches and flatbreads for customers visiting at lunchtimes and for evening meals.
The company’s ingredients are sourced from non genetically modified organism (GMO) and antibiotic-free farms that adopt sustainable farming practices. It also claims to use traditional cooking methods that utilise high-alkaline filtered water.
