American quick service restaurant chain Wendy’s has expanded its menu with the launch of a berry burst chicken salad for this summer.
Berry burst chicken salad is made using grilled chicken, blueberries, feta cheese, lettuce, strawberries and a raspberry vinaigrette.
The salad is topped with almonds and antioxidant-rich seasonal berries, packing 4g of fibre and 41g of protein.
The restaurant chain is offering free home delivery to customers, who use the ‘BERRYBURST’ promotion code while placing their orders, through its delivery partner DoorDash from participating locations.
Wendy’s chief concept and marketing officer Kurt Kane said: “Our new berry burst chicken salad is filled with freshly grilled chicken, fresh strawberries and blueberries, and hand-chopped lettuce – those are things you just don’t find at other salad places.
“And now that we’re offering free delivery through DoorDash, it’s easier than ever to get a great tasting and fresh salad no matter how busy you might be this summer.”
