American fast food restaurant chain Wendy’s has expanded its morning menu with the introduction of the new Breakfast Burrito.
The new addition is available across select regions in the US.
Wendy’s Company US chief marketing officer Lindsay Radkoski said: “We knew it was time to roll out a breakfast burrito option, starting in select markets. This latest morning menu innovation is exactly what our consumers are craving.
“The new Breakfast Burrito is a portable, hearty breakfast filled with quality ingredients you can always get at Wendy’s.”
The burrito comprises two fresh eggs and six strips of oven-baked, applewood-smoked bacon.
Wendy’s has included a substantial amount of bacon in the Breakfast Burrito, aligning with the popularity of their Baconator.

For those who prefer a zestier taste, the burrito is accompanied by two Cholula Original Hot Sauce Packets.
Wendy’s culinary innovation global vice-president John Li said: “With our new Breakfast Burrito, we’ve carefully balanced taste and convenience to create a portable masterpiece.
“Our newest breakfast innovation serves up all the best parts of Wendy’s breakfast rolled up into one delicious burrito.”
In November 2023, Wendy’s launched a new Pretzel Baconator for the 2023 holiday season.
Available for a limited time, the Pretzel Baconator is Wendy’s newest addition to its Baconator family.
The Pretzel Baconator comprises a half-pound of grilled beef topped with American cheese and six strips of applewood-smoked bacon. It is finished with ketchup and mayonnaise between two warm pretzel buns.
Customers can also order via the online food delivery platform Uber Eats.
