Prior to the November launch, the restaurant chain piloted the delivery service with DoorDash in Las Vegas and Austin during 2017, as well as Chicago and Denver during 2018.

Wingstop executive vice-president and chief growth and experience officer Maurice Cooper said: “Our fans have been hungering for Wingstop delivery for a long time, and we’re excited to finally answer the crave right in our own backyard.

“We know the demand is there, and Dallas-area delivery is a major milestone in moving toward our goal of rolling out delivery to 80% of our system by the end of the year.”

The companies are now offering free delivery in Dallas-Fort Worth for a limited time through 1 May this year.

Customers can place orders for Wingstop’s hand-sauced, tossed wings, and fries and sides using DoorDash’s website and mobile app.

DoorDash business development vice-president Toby Espinosa said: “Our mutual investments in technology and operations, including a custom POS integration, have enabled us to scale at a rapid pace across the country.

“We’re proud to be Wingstop’s national delivery partner and to continue to reach new customers in their hometown.”

Established in 1994, the restaurant chain has operated and franchised more than 1,250 restaurants globally as of 25 April this year.
