Lite Bite Foods’ pan-Asian brand YouMee has expanded its footprint in India with the opening of a new outlet at the EA Mall in the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

It is the brand’s 26th venue.

The brand has a turnover of Rs1bn ($11.6m) and a presence across multiple Indian cities.

The newly inaugurated Chennai outlet has a diverse menu featuring Japanese, Chinese, Thai and other Asian cuisines.

Dishes include Truffle Mushroom Sushi, New York Cheese and Chili Oil Dim Sum, and Veggie Delight Ramen, as reported by IndianRetailer.com.

Its menu also offers Katsu Chicken Bao, Miso Shiro Soup and Kung Pao Chicken, striking a balance between traditional tastes and modern culinary techniques.

The design of the Chennai location is inspired by Manga, with interiors that blend black, white, red and wood tones.

The space features Japanese cultural elements while maintaining a minimalist and contemporary ambience.

Lite Bite Foods co-founder and MD Rohit Aggarwal stated: “Chennai has a deep-rooted love for diverse and authentic flavours, making it the perfect city for our next phase of expansion. We are excited to introduce YouMee’s unique take on Pan-Asian cuisine to this vibrant market.

“Our goal is to offer not just a meal but an experience — where artistry, flavour, and hospitality come together to create something truly special. EA Mall is an ideal location to bring this vision to life, and we can’t wait to welcome Chennai’s food enthusiasts to embark on this flavourful journey with us.”

In November 2024, YouMee opened its first outlet in the Indian city of Dwarka, marking its 23rd location.
