Zarraffa’s Coffee has expanded in the Rockhampton region of the Australian state of Queensland with a new store in Gracemere – the brand’s 79th location.

The Gracemere store introduces the company’s drive-through model to Central Queensland.

Operated by franchisees Madyson McCall and Lachlan Beirne, the store is part of Zarraffa’s Manager Program, which supports managers within the group to own their own stores.

Madyson stated: “As soon as I found out about the Manager Program, I was quick to act and applied the very next day. I knew I wanted to take the leap, and this incredible opportunity was a way I could realise the dream of owning my own store and get to do it alongside Lachlan.”

The Gracemere location is the eighth to feature Zarraffa’s new drive-through model evolution, in which the drive-through is complemented by a walk-up window and outdoor seating area.

The store features the brand’s signature coffee blends, pastries, breakfast items and savoury snacks.

Zarraffa’s CEO Marnie Sheldon stated: “As a brand, we’re constantly reviewing market demands and customer trends to align with our strategic growth strategy and this drive-through evolution supports our plans to expand into untraditional locations, as well as regional and untapped markets.”

Zarraffa’s plans to expand to more than 200 sites nationally by the 2032 Summer Olympics, to be held in the state capital, Brisbane.

Sheldon added: “This newest iteration of the model has been a huge success, so far making up just over 10% of the brand’s footprint across the country with a pipeline of new sites set to open as part of our expansion plans in the lead up to the 2032 Brisbane Olympics.”
