US-based fast casual restaurant chain Zaxby’s is set to open its first to-go-only restaurant concept in its home state, Georgia.

The new restaurant will open on 25 September 2023 at 925 W Taylor St in Griffin.

The new Griffin venue will be owned and operated by High Adventure Chicken, owned by partners Schott, Korey Fredette and Jackson Collins.

Zaxby’s new restaurant will offer its guests a wide array of menu items, including chicken fingers, wings, its signature sandwich, chicken bacon ranch-loaded fries and Zaxby’s fried pickles.

High Adventure Chicken owner and operator Richard Schott said: “Our team and I cannot wait to bring Zaxby’s delicious chicken to the West Taylor Street neighbourhood while at the same time pioneering Zaxby’s new to-go-only concept in Georgia.

“I started out with Zaxby’s as a cook in 2014 and continue to believe in the brand’s mission and values.

Zaxby’s new location will have a double drive-through layout featuring new digital menu boards, a payment window and a drive-through delivery door for quicker pay and pickup service.

The newest restaurant will also have a walk-up window that allows guests to place take-out orders.

The new restaurant will not have any dine-in service but is designed to meet consumers’ demand for a food-to-go option.

For quicker service from the restaurant, customers can order ahead through the company’s website or the Zaxby’s app.

Customers preferring a delivery option from this location will also be able to place their order through DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub.

Last month, Zaxby’s opened a new location in Pooler, Georgia.

The Pooler site is located at 102 Zoya Lane and is owned and operated by SSR Savannah. It is Zaxby’s second location in the Pooler region.
