7-Eleven's Laredo Taco Company restaurant has launched a new addition to its menu, Quesabirria, for a limited period.
This latest offering features shredded beef and melted cheese, is served in a bowl or taco and is paired with consommé dipping sauce.
The flavours of beef and spices in the consommé enhance the tortilla.
In addition to Quesabirria, Laredo Taco Company is bringing back its hand-wrapped tamales just in time for the holiday season.
7-Eleven's restaurant operations senior vice-president William Armstrong said: "Our customers love the flavour and authenticity of Laredo Taco Company – and these two new limited-time offerings are no different.
"Whether you prefer the cheesy goodness of the Quesabirria or sharing tamales with friends and family, we're proud to offer delicious options that bring people together over great food."
Customers can enjoy these offerings through the 7NOW Delivery app, which provides delivery across the US.
The app offers real-time tracking, allowing customers to know when to expect their orders, typically within about 30 minutes.
In a separate development, 7-Eleven announced that members of 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards can get a small cup of any freshly brewed coffee for 60 cents every Monday at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores across the country in commemoration of 60 years of the store.
In Canada and the US, 7-Eleven operates, franchises and/or licenses over 13,000 stores.
