Casual dining brand Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar (Applebee’s) has announced the relaunch of its BOO-zy cocktails for the Halloween season.

The restaurant brand noted that its Boo-zy cocktail menu comprises two new $5 “chilling” Mucho Cocktails, known as 'Spooky Sips'.

The first cocktail is the Tipsy Zombie, made using Bacardi Superior, passion fruit, pineapple, cherry, lime and melon liqueur topped with a gummy brain.

The second beverage is Dracula’s Juice, a frozen creation prepared with Bacardi Superior, Jose Cuervo, berry and lemon.

Applebee’s beverage innovation vice-president Patrick Kirk said: “Applebee’s has always been a neighbourhood haunt and this Halloween, we’ve resurrected our $5 Spooky Sips alongside our famous DOLLARITA.

“Applebee’s is the place to be with our $1 margarita and two scary good $5 Mucho Cocktails – but these fan-favourites are only here for a limited time, so don’t miss your chance to get in on these wicked-good deals.”

In August this year, Applebee’s relaunched its All You Can Eat Boneless Wings in the US.

The All You Can Eat Boneless Wings comprised breaded pieces of boneless chicken tossed in one of six sauces: Classic Buffalo, Honey BBQ, Sweet Asian Chile, Garlic Parmesan, Extra Hot Buffalo and Honey Pepper.

The deal also included endless classic fries, signature coleslaw, Bleu cheese, or house-made buttermilk ranch dressing.

Additionally, Applebee’s added a new beverage line-up of Electric Long Island Iced Tea, Tipsy Sunset and Mucho Cocktails.

Quick commerce steadily becoming the norm for most food and grocery delivery companies

The emergence of ecommerce has made it imperative that companies understand consumer behavior, deliver personalized service, and offer competitive pricing models. Per GlobalData estimates, food and drink, clothing and footwear, and accommodation were the top three sectors by global ecommerce transactions in 2022. The rise of quick commerce, particularly within food and drink, allows consumers to have items delivered to their doorstep within the hour, which has driven a surge in online sales for food and drink.
