US coffee chain Black Rock Coffee Bar is set to bolster its presence in the state of Oregon by opening its second store in Eugene.
The new store had a soft launch at the beginning of this month and is scheduled to open formally on 16 February.
The new restaurant will be the coffee chain’s 34th location in Oregon.
The opening will include free 16oz drinks and week-long promotions.
The 2,000ft² store will feature Black Rock Coffee Bar's industrial modern design, allowing customers to enjoy their drinks and find a comfortable space to relax, work or socialise.
Black Rock Coffee Bar CEO Mark Davis said: “As the birthplace of Black Rock Coffee Bar, Oregon holds a special place in our hearts. We are thrilled to expand our presence in this great state with the opening of our newest location in Eugene.
“It re-affirms our commitment to serving exceptional coffee experiences to the communities that have embraced us from the very beginning.”
The Eugene store's launch follows the announcement of a new outlet in Kyle, Texas, in August 2023, marking the fifth in the Austin metro area.
In March 2021, the coffee chain expanded its position in Arizona with three new locations in Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale.
Founded in Oregon in 2008, it now has 130 locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas and Washington.
