US-based boutique coffee chain Black Rock Coffee Bar is set to open its new outlet in Kyle, Texas, on 25 August 2023.

Located in the Austin metro area, the new location will be the brand’s fifth store in this region. Its opening will increase the company’s total store count in the state to 27.

It will be the boutique coffee chain’s second store in Austin within a month.

The new 2000ft² Black Rock Coffee Bar will feature the brand’s signature industrial modern design and a large Texas-themed mural.

As part of the opening celebrations, the new store coffee chain will offer all customers free 16oz drinks all day, as well as other specials throughout the following week.

Black Rock Coffee Bar CEO Mark Davis said: “We love Austin, its amazing people and unique culture. Its vibrant energy and spirit resonate perfectly with our brand’s values.

“We are excited to become a part of the close-knit community in Kyle and our enthusiastic baristas are ready to warmly serve every customer who walks through our doors.”

The coffee chain continues its expansion in the West and into the Sunbelt with locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas and Washington.

In March 2021, Black Rock Coffee Bar expanded its presence in Arizona with three new locations in Phoenix, Tempe and Scottsdale.

Could the consumer industry be bolstered by the increased use of AI

The consumer goods, foodservice, and packaging sectors are undergoing digital transformation, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic and changing consumer preferences. Data science and ML are strong investments across all areas. For the most part, these sectors will not play a significant role in creating and developing AI hardware or platforms, but will instead help scale up the adoption of AI technologies, such as CV, conversational platforms, and smart robots.
