US-based boutique coffee chain Black Rock Coffee Bar is set to expand its footprint in the US market with the opening of a new location in North Oaks, within the Houston metro area.  

The new venue, situated at 4705 FM 1960 Rd West, Ste J, will be the company’s 19th Houston location. 

It is set to open its doors on 16 August 2024, inviting customers to a grand opening celebration with complimentary 16-ounce drinks available throughout the day. 

The boutique coffee chain's latest 2,000ft² location will feature its signature industrial modern design. 

Its menu will include roasted coffees, teas, smoothies and the brand's distinctive Fuel energy drinks.  

In anticipation of the grand opening, Black Rock Coffee Bar has relaunched its Black Rock Rewards programme.  

The updated scheme simplifies the process for members to order and earn rewards in-store, online or via the new mobile app.  

Special offers and promotions will continue beyond the opening week to enhance the customer experience.

Founded as a family-owned and operated business in Oregon in 2008, Black Rock Coffee Bar has now 140 retail locations across seven states in the US.  

The brand's rapid expansion strategy has seen it spread across the West and into the Sunbelt, with stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Texas and Washington. 

In August 2024 Black Rock opened its first store in Arvada, Colorado.
