The platform will streamline omnichannel ordering, kitchen management and restaurant operations.

ParTech, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PAR Technology, has signed an exclusive agreement to provide a unified point-of-sale (POS) software to Burger King’s traditional restaurants across North America.

Under the agreement, ParTech will provide its Brink POS and MENU Link offerings to Burger King outlets in North America.

Brink POS is a next-generation, cloud-native POS software solution that can serve various functions.

The platform helps restaurants facilitate omnichannel ordering, kitchen management, restaurant operations and analytics, all within a completely configurable system.

It also ensures guest engagement and provides an optimised experience to the operators by maintaining a user-friendly design.

The platform’s Application Programming Interface (API) ensures that customers can quickly integrate their current IT stacks with the new PAR systems at low-friction rollouts.

Brink is currently deployed at more than 21,000 restaurants.

The MENU Link solution is one of the components of the company’s broader PAR MENU ecosystem, used for omnichannel ordering.

It streamlines external order management into a single system across all the delivery marketplaces, mainly by integrating third-party ordering platforms.

This integrated system minimises errors and boosts overall efficiency while enhancing guest satisfaction.

Burger King is one of the four quick service restaurant (QSR) brands owned by Restaurant Brands International (RBI).

RBI, which also owns Tim Hortons, Popeyes and Fire Subs, is a QSR company with more than 30,000 restaurants across 100 countries.

Full-service restaurant (FSR) was the largest profit sector channel in Germany in 2022

The Germany foodservice profit sector generated revenue of EUR84.8 billion ($89.3 billion) in 2022, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 11% during 2022-2027. FSR was the largest foodservice profit sector channel in 2022, reflecting the popularity of traditional fine-dining experiences among German consumers. Despite the highly fragmented market, pub, club & bar channel is set to record the highest growth during 2022–27, triggered by an increase in transactions and average transaction value.
