Fast casual Tex-Mex restaurant franchise Capital Tacos has announced its maiden franchise agreement in Nashville, Tennessee, US.
The brand has signed an agreement with Doug Morgan, who will be responsible for opening the restaurant in this region.
This agreement is part of the brand’s plan to expand into new markets across the country.
Capital Tacos co-founder Josh Luger said: “The Music City is a culinary capital and we're eager to develop into a household name in a community that prioritises flavour and flair so highly.
“Doug's passion and experience for the restaurant industry will make him an exceptional addition to our franchise family and a valued restaurateur in his home community.”
Although Capital Tacos signed a single-unit deal, Morgan intends to expand the brand’s footprint further by opening additional locations throughout the surrounding communities and beyond.
Morgan said: “After working with the likes of Applebee's, Denny's and Pizza Hut over the course of my career, it's been difficult to place my finger on what concept might be next.
“But the people and product at Capital Tacos made that decision easy. The franchise's devotion to quality, customer experience and business development will play a welcomed and delicious role here in Nashville.”
In 2022, Capital Tacos launched its franchise programme. The brand has since expanded its presence beyond its Tampa home base.
In August this year, Capital Tacos signed its first franchise agreement for New Jersey.
The agreement was signed by two brothers, Parth and Yash Patel, who are New Jersey natives.
