Carl’s Jr to add new burger, shake to menu for limited time

Big Char Chile Burger and Salted Caramel Pretzel Shake will be available at Carl's Jr restaurants from 30 August to 31 October.

Carl's Jr, a US-based fast food restaurant chain operated by CKE Restaurant, is set to add new burger and shake to its menu.

The new additions include Big Char Chile Burger and Salted Caramel Pretzel Shake.

Being launched for a limited time period, the new items will be available for customers across Carl's Jr restaurants between 30 August and 31 October.

Customers ordering via Carl's Jr. mobile application can exclusively try the new Big Char Chile Burger from 23 August, a week before it will be available in restaurants.

The newly introduced Big Char Chile Burger will feature a beef patty topped with Santa Fe sauce, whole charred green chile, iceberg lettuce and pepperjack cheese, served together on toasted seeded bun.

This burger will be available in three different options, including Big Char Chile Double, Big Char Chile Angus and Big Char Chile Double Angus.

To complement the new burger, Carl's Jr. has also introduced Salted Caramel Pretzel Shake, which is a blend of ice cream and milk along with caramel syrup, pretzel pieces and whipped topping.

Carl's Jr. Brand Marketing vice president Anthony Nguyen said: “Our new Big Char Chile Burger and Salted Caramel Pretzel Shake pack a flavour punch – on their own and together, and guests are sure to come back for more.

“Carl's Jr. is known for its exciting menu items, and with these two only available for a limited time, you aren't going to want to miss out on this ambitious flavour combo.”

The fast food company said that the new items can be availed by both rewards member and first time customers.
