Cheba Hut will open its latest outlet in Ontario, California on 16 December 2024, marking an expansion within the US state. The new location is to be situated at 1900 E Inland Empire Blvd STE A Ontario, CA 91764. 

It is set to provide its toasted sub experience to an even broader audience of sandwich lovers.

This is the fifth Cheba Hut location in California and the second venture for franchisee Tyrone Myles and his team, according to a release posted on RestaurantNews.com. 

Myles said: “My family and I have proudly been part of the Cheba Hut franchise for four years.”  

“We opened our first location in downtown Riverside in 2020, and the community embraced it wholeheartedly. We’re thrilled to continue serving in the Inland Empire.” 

The shop's muralist, Shane Grammer, has crafted a central mural capturing the essence of Cheba Hut's culture.  

The Ontario location will offer over thirty varieties of toasted subs, alongside a selection of treats such as pretzel nugs (pretzel bites) and crispy treats.

An assortment of signature cocktails and local beers will also be available.
